Keshia has her hands full! As a mother of 5 kids under the age of 13, Keshia has always strived to provide a comfortable life for her kids.  Born and raised in St. Augustine, she struggled to find safe, affordable housing with enough space for her family.  Despite having the same job for 12 years, she could not find a home in St. Johns County that she could comfortably afford. So, as part of building a better life for her children, Keshia enrolled in a credit counseling class.  It was in that class that she found out about Habitat.  Keshia was scared but took a giant leap towards making her dreams come true.  She can’t wait to see the smiles on her kids’ faces when they have enough space to run around and play like kids need to do!
